LONDON — The Hoffman Agency has expanded its senior team in EMEA, hiring Georgina Chapman as its first associate director for Europe to support growth plans for the region and to work with multi-market clients.

Chapman, who is based in the UK, joins after seven years at Hotwire, latterly as senior programme director. She had already worked closely with the Hoffman team in Asia on shared clients.

The Hoffman Agency’s managing director for Europe, Mark Pinsent, told PRovoke Media: “This is a pivotal point in terms of where we’re going. It’s the first time we’ve hired at this level – Georgie is senior enough to really get involved with clients at a strategic level and manage relationships with multi market clients, she knows what great looks like and what the demands are on clients from their stakeholders in multiple markets.

“One of the reasons Georgie was interesting to us was because of the international work she’s done. We’re really geared towards expanding clients into multiple regions and it’s important that everyone we hire has curiosity about the nuances of different markets. And we have a huge amount of respect for Hotwire – a lot of credence comes from someone who has been there for seven years.”

UK director Chris Owen added: “Georgie’s time at a really good agency will help to expand our international work. She’s highly flexible, can handle anything thrown her way with a cool head and we’ll be better for having Georgie in the team. She’s a really important hire for us.”

Chapman told PRovoke Media: “I’d always heard great things about Hoffman’s team culture and focus on delivering results for clients and when this opportunity came up to help their growth in EMEA it was too good to turn down. I’m looking forward to building on what the team are already doing in the region.

The Hoffman Agency now has a team of eight across Europe, delivering work in the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands and Spain. Pinsent said the firm was hiring in most of its European markets and was on track for revenues to support a 15-person team in the region this year.

“A lot of work in all our regions is shifting towards revenue-focused activities like content marketing and lead generation, where the goals are measurable and we are really adept at helping clients using our storytelling history,” he said. “We’re just flying – there is a lot of business around at the moment and we’ve had year-on-year revenue growth of 75%.”

Recent client wins include Rakuten Advertising – previously held by Hotwire, which recommended The Hoffman Agency – and Graphcore, a UK technology company that makes semiconductors for AI processing and is one of Nvidia’s main competitors. The agency has already expanded its work for Graphcore, which also works with Milltown in the US and UK, beyond France and Germany to Korea and Japan.

Other new clients include cloud financial reporting software-as-a-service (SaaS) firm Workiva, which the agency is supporting with content marketing in the UK, France and Germany as it expands into ESG reporting. The Hoffman Agency also recently picked up work for document ID and facial biometrics verification technology firm Onfido in Benelux, and customer data form Tealium, which has already expanded its work with the agency from the UK into Asia.
