LONDON—British clothing brand Joules has hired Hudson Sandler to handle corporate PR following a competitive review.

The company, known for 'bringing cool to the country set',  is aiming to position itself as a successful, fast-growing lifestyle brand. In particular, the Hudson Sandler team will liaise with media, business forums, bloggers, analysts and key stakeholders across the UK.

"Joules is a dynamic brand that operates as a true multi-channel retailer," said Joules marketing director Ronny Helvey. "We have grown to become a £100m turnover business, so we want to ensure our story is noticed and communicated to a wider discerning audience."

Established in 1989, Joules is now backed by Lloyds Development Capital, which invested $22m in the business in 2013, to help accelerate international growth plans. The company has expanded to the US, Germany and Asia.

"We will be working to amplify this highly successful lifestyle brand and ensure it is recognised and understood amongst a broader business, retail and financial audience, facilitating the company’s ongoing global expansion ambition," said Hudson Sandler MD Kirsty Leighton.
