LONDON — UK space company Exobotics has selected Centropy PR for its communications programme leading up to its first satellite launches this year, after a competitive pitch.

Exobotics, a start-up with offices and labs in London, Cambridge, and Cornwall, acts as in-house satellite development team, helping businesses outside the space industry launch into low-Earth orbit (LEO) and to the Moon, using advancements in robotics, materials, structures and artificial intelligence to make space more accessible.

The firm has won several contracts in 2022, including with advanced materials specialist Quantum Generative Materials, and other fintech, mining, agricultural and telecommunications companies.

Centropy will lead the company’s external communications programme, delivering storytelling campaigns, thought leadership, and media and influencer relations in the lead up to a  number of satellite launches this year. The agency will also support events and social media activity.

Exobotics founder, CEO and principal engineer Nadeem Gabbani said: “The benefits of space are still being realised today and people from outside the industry need to be made aware of the possibilities and potential of LEO and beyond. Centropy is the perfect agency to help us tell our story with their passion for satellite technology and hands-on proactive approach already delivering results.”

Centropy PR founder Steven George Hilley added: “Exobotics is an extremely exciting up-and-coming company and is already making waves in the space sector with its innovative approach to satellite development. We are very proud to be working with such an ambitious company helping businesses to realise the potential space has to offer, making a positive impact on climate change, the economy, and business issues across the globe.”
