NEW YORK —  IPG’s Virgo Health has hired George Pearson to lead the firm’s creative offering in the US.

As VP and creative director, Pearson will lead the agency’s continuing transformation into a full-service, design-forward medical communications and public relations agency. He also will bring new talent to the evolving agency, specifically within the peer-to-peer medical communications space.

Having previously worked at Virgo Health, Pearson brings years of experience in implementing design-led multi-channel programs for blockbuster therapies across a wide range of therapeutic areas, covering all stages of the product life cycle.He most recently spent four years with Bluedog, a creative and digital agency.

Pearson will report to Virgo Health global president of healthcare Cori McKeever.
