BERLIN — Fluid, the virtual PR network founded less than 18 months ago, has added seven new members as it continues to grow its offering across the globe.

Several of the new members feature an Edelman background, in keeping with the backgrounds of co-founders Cornelia Kunze and Moritz Kaffsack, and 16 of Fluid's first 18 members.

High-profile names include former DeVries Asia MD Andres Vejarano, who spent several years at Edelman Hong Kong earlier in his career, and 17-year Edelman veteran Amanda Goh in Singapore.

In Portugal, risk and crisis communication consultant Philippe Borremans comes onboard, following a career that has included senior roles at IBM and Porter Novelli. In New York, Pia Garcia joins Fluid, after previously serving as Unilever client lead and purpose specialist.

Also joining in New York is corporate reputation consultant Jon Goldberg, who founded his own firm in 2009 after more than 25 years as a senior leader at Porter Novelli, Edelman and J. Walter Thompson.

The seven are rounded out by sustainability specialist Helena Wayth in London and corporate advisor Brian Shrowder in Melbourne. The expansion brings the total number of members to 24, spanning Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, Europe, Africa and the Americas.

"All seven of our new members are among the most experienced and highly sought-after advisers in their respective markets and areas of expertise," said Kunze. "We've all experienced a year of disruption that has required a fluid approach throughout. The approach to change and disruption we've formulated as a team and the model we've driven as a group has helped us in each of our businesses and markets. It proved to offer an attractive and powerful alternative for clients, who seek more flexible project support with expandable resources across the world."

Kunze added that Fluid projects have included work for a new media platform, positioning for a drinks portfolio, the global purpose rollout of an FMCG brand and cross-border strategy of a fintech company.
