WINTER HAVEN, FL — Josh Hallett, SVP at Porter Novelli's digital arm PNConnect, has left the agency to join Publix Supermarkets as a digital marketing strategist.

Hallett has been with the firm since 2007 when it was called Voce. He oversaw social media work for clients like Disney Parks, Sony Computer Entertainment America, Sony Computer Entertainment Europe, NetApp and eBay. In 2011, Omnicom firm Porter Novelli bought Voce and the firm has more recently has operated as PNConnect, led by Jesse Soleil since last year.

Voce co-founder Rich Cline said the firm's Florida office — where Hallett was based — remains open and is being led by developers Beca Mueller and Pete Scheibel.

On his blog, Hallett outlined the work from Voce that he’s “extremely proud of.” Among them was launching the Disney Parks blog more than five years ago that has since become a “a key component of the Disney Parks digital ecosystem and driver of true ROI.” He also listed launching the Playstation Blog which he calls “the most read corporate blog in the world, but it’s hard to verify that.”
