LONDON — Vodafone’s former sustainability lead, Justine Harris, has joined Brunswick’s London office as a partner, to focus on environment, social and governance (ESG), sustainability and social purpose.

Harris moves to the strategic communications firm after seven years at Vodafone, where she was the group head of sustainable business and corporate transparency. She will join Brunswick’s expanding Business & Society offer, advising companies worldwide on the changing role of business in society.

Lucy Parker, a senior partner in the division, said: “Justine has built a leading position for Vodafone as a company highly respected for how it responds to the societal issues that surround the tech sector. With both internal and external stakeholders, she has developed and championed programs that demonstrate commitment to playing a positive role in the world. We’re thrilled to have her as a partner in our team.”

Harris added: “I am excited to be joining the Brunswick Business & Society team at this important juncture. Brunswick is perfectly placed to help leading companies take the bold steps necessary to ensure their business strategies meet the changing expectations of their stakeholders, tackle their most material risks, and find innovative ways to deliver both financial and social value.”

Before working at Vodafone, Harris spent 13 years as marketing and communications director at UK non-profit Jewish Care. She also worked for a decade in advertising, at Saatchi & Saatchi.
