SAN FRANCISCO — W2O has partnered with the Giants Community Fund to help the the baseball team’s youth-focused nonprofit expand its impact and reach untapped supporters.
W2O is charged with helping the Community Fund recruit and retain more volunteers, participants and donors as a means of expanding its work with kids in underserved communities. The organization does that through its free baseball and softball program, Junior Giants, as well as offerings around health, education and violence prevention.
W2O’s campaign will include traditional media relations, as well as paid, earned and social media, content strategy and analytics insights. The agency also will work to build community engagement with hard-to-reach residents of the neighborhoods the fund serves, primarily by showcasing the positive impact of the program.
Giants Community Fund operates 90 free, noncompetitive Junior Giants leagues in California, Nevada and Oregon. Roughly 25,000 children participate each year.
