LONDON—WCG, part of the W2O Group of companies, has acquired Refreshed Wellbeing, a pan-European, digitally-based communications and marketing agency specializing in health and pharmaceutical brands.

Refreshed Wellbeing is focused on delivering integrated digital marketing campaigns across Europe for clients such as Boehringer Ingelheim, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Grunenthal, Johnson & Johnson, LEO Pharma, Mentholatum, Pfizer and Roche.

Carl Engelmarc (pictured), co-founder of Refreshed Wellbeing, joins the WCG management team as managing director of the EMEA digital practice, bringing with him more than 20 years of experience in digital and integrated branding communications.

According to Chris Deri, president of WCG, the deal also bolsters the firm’s analytical and PESO capabilities.
