SINGAPORE — UK-headquarted agency Aspectus Group has appointed Louise Veitch as head of Southeast Asia, to lead its expansion in the region.

Veitch, who joined the firm seven years ago as an account executive and was previously deputy head of financial services, will lead a team out of Singapore, servicing clients in the technology, financial and renewable energy sectors across Southeast Asia.

“Singapore continues to be the preferred gateway to the region for international organisations and is an established financial and investment hub known for its excellent infrastructure and progressive legal and regulatory framework,” said Veitch.

She added: “Southeast Asia is such an exciting opportunity, across our specialist sectors: tech, wealth, capital markets and energy. We are seeing a big shift across these industries, even compared with 12 months ago, and it is now much rarer for decision makers at large, global companies to not be considering their presence in Asia. As the region makes significant strides in these industries, it’s the perfect time to help firms properly address their branding, marketing and external communications."

Aspectus Group CEO Alastair Turner said: “We’ve always listened to our clients, and we know that Asia is a vital area of their growth, so it’s only right that we grow with them in the region. Louise has been a stalwart of Aspectus for a number of years, and has a fantastic knowledge of the region – I can’t wait to see the impact that she will make out there."

The agency, which was originally a technology specialist, has expanded into other areas in recent years, including setting up a capital markets division in 2020. It has offices in London, New York, Singapore, Aberdeen and Lucerne.
