SINGAPORE — WE Communications has shifted Aaron Petras from Seattle to Singapore to take on the role of EVP of global operations.
In his expanded role, Petras reports to global COO and international president Kass Sells, who is based at WE's global HQ in Seattle. Petras is tasked with establishing operational consistency across WE offices worldwide, including integration of acquired companies, expansion of capabilities and services, and oversight of WE partnerships.
He will also be responsible for day-to-day administrative functions of the business, including systems, tools, processes and business practices, with particular focus on the Asia-Pacific region.
"I'm excited to have Aaron working with our teams in APAC and globally to strengthen and deepen our business," said Sells. "Aaron brings a wealth of experience across a variety of industries, which will be extremely valuable in enabling our growth globally. His background in business management and technology will give us the insight into how we can best provide value to clients that operate in dynamic and complex sectors."
Sells took charge of WE's international operations at the start of 2019.
In his previous role as SVP of agency and partner strategy, Petras launched Plus, WE's global affiliate agency network, which he will remain involved in leading. He has also held interim GM roles for WE’s Beijing and San Francisco offices. Prior to joining WE, Petras was part of the leadership team at Airfoil Group.
