SINGAPORE — Weber Shandwick veteran Albert Shu has been named president of the firm's Hong Kong and Singapore operations, with Vanessa Ho Nikolovski becoming chief client and growth officer in Asia-Pacific.

Shu is promoted after serving as Weber Shandwick Hong Kong MD since 2004. Nikolovski, meanwhile, has been Singapore MD since 2011, while also occupying the role of chair of client services in Asia-Pacific.

“The whole of our senior team in APAC has shown incredible leadership through a very challenging time," said Weber Shandwick Asia-Pacific CEO Baxter Jolly. "At the start of this new year, I am very excited to see what Vanessa and Albert bring to our Asia Pacific community in their new and expanded roles."

In her newly-created, cross-regional role, Nikolovski will oversee regional practice leadership, marketing, and new business development with a focus on strategic growth and opportunities.

Shu, meanwhile, will aim to deepen the integration between the firm’s two regional hubs in Hong Kong and Singapore.
