SAN FRANCISCO – Weber Shandwick has made lead hires across its creative and corporate offerings in San Francisco, building out the office under the new leadership of Luca Penati.  

Jonathan Carroll joins as SVP leading the digital and creative teams in San Francisco. Carroll was most recently VP of creative at Livefyre where he oversaw a team of designers, engineers, strategists and project managers to build interactive experiences via the Livefyre platform for brands and entertainment companies — mostly in support of sales and marketing.  

Carroll also held senior roles at Chaotic Moon, a mobile development companies, and Gowalla, a web and mobile product company that was acquired by Facebook in 2011.
 
Heather Gallegos also joins as SVP of employee engagement and the new to the West Coast change management offering, following a 17-year career at Cisco Systems. Most recently, Gallegos was a communications advisor to engineering, marketing, operations and IT executives. In that role, she helped Cisco’s global teams navigate leadership transitions, adopt new technologies and drive culture change.

Douglas Myers joined as VP in the firm’s corporate practice in San Francisco from Landis Communications.
