WASHINGTON, DC—Forty public relations campaigns from around the world will receive Global SABRE Awards at an online awards ceremony that will take place as part of PRovoke Global, our international public relations summit, next month.

PRovoke Global will take place over four days in October, from the 19th to the 22nd— a fourth day was added this week to accommodate additional sponsors — with the Global SABRE Awards to be presented on October 21st.

The event will feature a countdown of the top 40 campaigns from around the world—selected from our SABRE competitions in Africa, Asia-Pacific, EMEA, Latin America, North America and South Asia, as well as our Innovation SABRE Awards—culminating in the announcement of the Platinum SABRE for the world’s best public relations campaign.

“These campaigns were selected from more than 5,000 submissions across all of our awards competitions, and include work from mature markets such as the US and the UK, as well as from emerging and smaller markets like Kenya, Mexico and Slovakia,” said Paul Holmes, chair of the SABRE judges. “What they have in common is strategic thinking, creative execution and above all a real business impact.

“Together they prove that despite the difficult times in which we are all operating, public relations is a mission critical corporate discipline and a difference-maker when it comes to marketing and branding.”
