NEW YORK — Global healthcare comms leader Kristie Kuhl will be joining Zeno from Finn Partners, which in turn has appointed Fern Lazar as her successor.

As global managing director of health and wellness, Kuhl is charged with leading the expansion and evolution of Zeno’s integrated healthcare practice.

That will include growing the practice’s strategy and capabilities in line with businesses outside as well as inside the sector focusing on healthcare. She also will focus on helping to advance health equity and mental well-being for clients and the agency overall.

Kuhl has been part of Finn Partners’ health practice since it launched in 2015. She was made practice head last July. Zeno's previous global health lead, Ame Wadler, left last year and is now principal at Strategic Momentum.

Finn Partners, meantime, has promoted Fern Lazar to its global health practice lead.

Lazar has served as a Finn managing partner since 2019 when the agency acquired her firm Lazar Partners. Lazar Partners specializes in health-related public and investor relations.

In her new position, Lazar will lead Finn’s healthcare practice, a $44 million operation with more than 200 employees in 19 offices worldwide.

She also will continue to serve as head of Lazar/Finn, which has doubled in size since it became part of Finn. During that time, Lazar has led the creation of new services in investor relations, brand support, patient advocacy, scientific writing and medical communications and more.
