BCW was named large Asia-Pacific Regional Consultancy of the Year at the 2020 Asia-Pacific SABRE Awards — which took place virtually today, attracting hundreds of viewers from across the region. 

The WPP agency fought off competition from fellow finalists FleishmanHillard, H+K Strategies, Ogilvy and Weber Shandwick, last year’s winner.

BCW won the honour for the first time in its history, following the 2018 merger of Burson-Marsteller and Cohn & Wolfe, led by strong performances in China, Hong Kong and India, along with impressive expansion of its creative and innovation capabilities — all of which was reflected in a string of award-winning campaigns for clients.

Archetype took home the same honour among midsize firms in the region, ahead of other category finalists Ketchum, Ruder Finn, SPRG and WE. The midsize independent delivered continued growth in Southeast Asia, Australia and India.
