Vanessa Broadhurst was named head of global corporate affairs at Johnson & Johnson in January 2022. She is a member of the company’s executive committee and is responsible for corporate marketing, global communications, health equity, and philanthropic giving.
Broadhurst brings more than 25 years of senior leadership experience to the position, having worked for leading global healthcare companies including Amgen, Novartis, and Abbott across the US and Europe. She was most recently J&J’s group chairman of global commercial strategy for the innovative medicine sector.
As well as her day job, Broadhurst sits on the board of directors of Zoetis, the largest global animal health company, is a board member of the Ad Council, and is executive sponsor for Johnson & Johnson’s African Ancestry Leadership Council where she is committed to supporting professional talent throughout Johnson & Johnson and within the healthcare industry. She has also been named one of the Most Influential Black Executives in Corporate America.
