Lyssegen’s vision and persistence have turned a Norwegian clippings company into one of the world’s largest digital players. Meltwater’s startup mentality and aggressive ambition may not be to everyone’s taste, but Lyssegen’s focus, and flair for innovation, is unquestionable. A true entrepreneur, Lyssegen founded Meltwater with just $15k in 2001, and has since grown the company to more than 50 offices and 800 employees. He is also a patent holder with four start-ups, and has two trade sales and one IPO to his credit.
