The Innovator 25 Global Edition 2020 

PRovoke Media's Innovator 25 is already established as an important barometer of marketing and communications innovation. Since launching in 2013, it has identified 25 individuals each year in North America, EMEA and, more recently Asia-Pacific, who have  — in some capacity — elevated and evolved engagement and influence. This year, we'll again take a truly global view of innovation and will have separate lists of 25 innovators for each region: North America, EMEA and Asia-Pacific. 

We look to recognize those who have taken risks to disrupt outdated business practices; blended masterful creativity with stunning impact; taken social purpose to new heights; made real progress in changing behavior and outcomes; or reformed hiring practices & cultures to achieve more diversity. These are just a few achievements that we would consider innovative.

How do you select the Innovator 25? 
The Innovator 25 are selected by PRovoke Media's editorial team. We make our selections via the nomination process, but also draw from our own editorial research and meetings. 

What do you look for in nominees?
Simply speaking, we look for individuals who are pushing the boundaries of the industry. This can take many forms, among them: disrupting traditional business models; incorporating new technologies into influence and engagement; advancing the application of data and analytics; making an impact around diversity and inclusion; and more. Several members of the Innovator 25 have not come from a traditional communications or public relations career, but their work has made an impact on our sector. 

Can I nominate myself? 
Yes, but we would encourage you to be as specific as possible around your accomplishments. (This is also true for all nominations.) 

Is there a fee for nominate? 
No, there is no fee to submit nominations for the Innovator 25.

 

Americas

This year marks our eighth annual Innovator 25 in the Americas. Once again, this year’s list features remarkable innovators who are addressing the industry’s challenges with ingenuity and insight to make meaningful (and hopefully lasting) change at time when it's needed more than ever. This tumultuous year has forced the industry to embrace change and reimagine the future of work, campaigns and even live events.

Asia-Pacific

Our fourth Innovator 25 class in Asia-Pacific provides a valuable glimpse of our industry’s future, shining a spotlight on those individuals who are reshaping influence and engagement at a time when the industry is reimagining the future of work, campaigns, live events and much more.

EMEA

For the sixth Innovator 25 in EMEA – our most diverse and female list ever – we celebrate communicators within agencies, in-house and beyond who have more than risen to the occasion in this strangest and toughest of years, and are embracing how the pandemic is changing the way we engage, live and work, forever.
