CHICAGO — Golin has tapped industry veteran Claire Koeneman to lead the agency’s North American corporate communications practice.

In the newly created role, Koeneman’s initial responsibilities include working with Golin’s existing clients on developing corporate communications strategy. She is also charged with growing the practice through new regional business, contributing to global efforts and collaborating with all of Golin’s brands, IPG Dxtra (the holding company’s PR and marketing group) and IPG.

Most recently, Koeneman was a partner with Bully Pulpit Interactive. As the Chicago market leader, she created and led integrated campaigns for the firm’s roster of corporate communications clients. Previously, Koeneman was executive VP, corporate communications for Hill+Knowlton and before that, president of MWWPR/financial relations board.
