WASHINGTON — GCI Health has hired Ryan Kuresman as group senior VP to expand and lead the agency’s health policy and public affairs offering out of the GCI Health’s Washington office. In this role, Kuresman will be responsible for elevating GCI Health’s ability to engage with and communicate to policymakers and influencers and health advocacy stakeholders. He joins from Edelman, where he worked on complex policy debates and business-critical assignments at the local, national and international levels.

NEW YORK — MaryJo Fitzgerald has joined Global Gateway Advisors as senior director and chief of staff. Fitzgerald (pictured) will be responsible for supporting clients in strategic communications initiatives, crisis and issues management, thought leadership, and business growth opportunities. She joins Global Gateway Advisors from IBM, where she focused on IBM Research’s strategic initiatives and media relations efforts related to artificial intelligence, ethics, and the future of work. Prior to this, she led communications for the economic research arm of jobs site Glassdoor.

TORONTO — Casacom has appointed Tricia Doyle as business strategist and managing director of the Toronto office. Tricia has been leading the English Canada operations of the Québec-based firm since the beginning of the year. Casacom has also promoted Suzanne Rappaport, who has been with the firm for three years, to senior VP in the Toronto office.

WASHINGTON — Seven Letter has added Morgan Dye, Colleen Charles and Madison Bentil to its growing team. Dye comes to the firm as a senior director with more than a decade of experience in strategic and crisis communications, most recently at Reingold, Inc. Charles, who previously worked for the Iowa Democratic Party’s coordinated campaign and was a fellow at Seven Letter, is the firm’s new manager of operations. Bentil will serve as a content specialist and most recently worked at Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance.
