NEW YORK — Hot Paper Lantern has added three senior leaders to its team. They are: senior VP of marketing Philip Leif Bjerknes, who was, most recently, a partner and marketing director at Alldayeveryday; creative director Nicholas Jackson, who has led creative teams at the New York Times and Washington Post; and social media lead Emily Cottone, who led public relations for CheapOair before joining HPL.

WASHINGTON — Precision Strategies has hired Denise Horn as a managing principal, communications. Horn joins from WarnerMedia, where she was senior director of inclusion marketing and communications. She previously served as the Hillary Clinton campaign’s director of African-American media.

WASHINGTON — Bully Pulpit Interactive has hired Xochitl Hinojosa to serve as a managing director in BPI’s DC office. Previously, Hinojosa was director of communications and senior adviser for the Democratic National Committee during the Trump Presidency, as which she helped lead the efforts to take back the House of Representatives, the Senate and the White House. At BPI, she will lead integrated statewide campaigns for Democrats in the 2022 cycle and beyond, craft reputational campaigns for brands and help Fortune 100 companies identify and communicate their purpose beyond selling products.

WASHINGTON — Igor Khrestin has joined Finsbury Glover Hering as a managing director in the firm’s Washington office. Khrestin brings more than 15 years of experience in government and advocacy to the firm, including senior legislative experience in both chambers of the US Congress. He most recently worked as national security advisor for US Sen. Cory Gardner (R-CO) and simultaneously as staff director of the Senate Foreign Relations Subcommittee on East Asia, the Pacific, and International Cybersecurity Policy.

BOSTON — Nickerson has named Allison Rosen as associate director, PR & communications, real estate. Rosen will also chair Nickerson’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee. Most recently, Rosen served as director, public relations and community engagement for The Marlene Meyerson JCC Manhattan where she oversaw PR for the center’s many business verticals as well as crisis communications.
