SAN FRANCISCO — FleishmanHillard has promoted Mitch Germann to global managing director of retail, sports and lifestyle. Germann (pictured) will be responsible for developing the agency’s role as a cultural connector and maintaining relationships with media, creators, influencers, athletes, agents, events and venues within the sector. Additionally, Germann will collaborate with account teams to bring brand and product innovation to customers to promote awareness and demand. Germann currently works as a senior partner at the agency’s San Francisco office leading the consumer brand team and is responsible for a portfolio with retail, sports and lifestyle clients. Previously, Germann was a senior director at Nike and oversaw media relations, and prior to this, he was a senior director leading global communications at Jordan Brand.

ATLANTA — Alloy has appointed Jenni McDonough as chief people officer. She will lead talent attraction and retention, drive innovation through strategic employee relations and nurture the firm’s culture. Previously, McDonough worked with 22squared as the senior vice president, director of talent where she managed organizational effectiveness and supported the executive team and business leaders on agency initiatives. McDonough also spent four years as VP of HR with Engauge Marketing and 11 years with MSL Group.

CHARLESTON, SC — Integrated marketing firm Brandon has added Nick Escobar and Avery Ashley to the client services team. Nick Escobar is Brandon’s newest account manager. He will build and maintain strong and effective working relations with clients through managing budgets, billing, approving all internal client work, and leading the strategic planning of programs and projects. Avery Ashley joins the agency as a junior project manager and account coordinator. She will maintain budgets, act as the liaison between internal teams, manage project scope, and communicate directly with clients.
