NEW YORK—Lippe Taylor, a specialist in marketing to women, has added chief digital officer Fred Gerantabee to lead accounts across health, lifestyle and beauty sectors. Gerantabee comes to Lippe Taylor from Grey Advertising where he built the technology, user experience and innovation practices. The firm has also added VP of digital George Wright and insights manager Michael Hansberry. Wright joins Lippe Taylor from 360i where he led the NBCU business, while Hansberry comes from Deep Focus where he managed the firm’s global digital panel and qualitative research efforts.

CHICAGO—Brunswick Group has hired Christopher Hannegan as a partner, leading its global employee engagement offer. Hannegan previously founded Edelman’s employee engagement offering and was a principal at Booz & Company (now called Strategy& and a part of PwC), where he led the firm’s people and change team. He began his career at Bayer in the US and Germany, where he held positions in employee communications, branding, mergers and acquisitions, identity change communications, media relations and advertising.

NEW YORK—Ogilvy Public Relations has named Andrea Romero as vice president of corporate communications, USA. Romero joins Ogilvy PR from ProColombia, the tourism, investment and exports promotion arm of the Colombian government, a longstanding client of Ogilvy PR. Romero's responsibilities will include external communications [traditional media, social media management and stakeholder engagement], internal communications, content creation, website development and overall day-to-day management of the Ogilvy PR brand in the USA.

WASHINGTON, DC—Claudia Fritsche, one of the longest serving female diplomats in Washington and former resident ambassador of Liechtenstein to the United States, has joined APCO’s international advisory council. Fritsche served as the first resident ambassador of Liechtenstein to the US from 2002 to 2016, and earlier was permanent representative of Liechtenstein to the United Nations from 1990 to 2002. 

NEW YORK—Global Strategy Group has named Tanya Meck partner. Meck serves as managing director and leads GSG’s communications and public affairs practice across the US. During her six-year tenure at GSG, Meck has overseen the agency’s growth strategy, including the continued expansion of its national brand. She also launched and co-leads GSG’s corporate impact practice and has led growth of the firm’s energy and utilities, education, and healthcare sector practices.

WATERTOWN, Ma—Greenough Brand Storytellers has promoted Amy McHugh and Brad Puffer to senior vice president. They join 13-year veteran Scott Bauman as key account leaders for the agency. A former anchor and reporter with more than a decade of experience in TV markets across New England, McHigh joined the agency in 2009. Now in his second year at Greenough, Puffer began his career as a reporter, anchor and documentary producer and spent four years as director of communications for the Massachusetts Office of the Attorney General.

ANNAPOLIS, MD—Crosby Marketing Communications has added Kat Friedman as senior vice president in the firm’s Washington, DC, office. She will provide strategic direction and team leadership for national public health and safety communications programs. She comes to Crosby from a senior vice president role at Ogilvy Public Relations, where she led teams on contracts for clients including the Federal Emergency Management Agency and the National Institutes of Health.

BOSTON—CXO Communication has added Erin Del Llano and Nick Chow as communication strategist and brand strategist respectively. Del Llano joins CXO from MSLGroup in Boston, where she was a vice president in the corporate communications practice. Chow joins from the New York-based brand engagement firm Sullivan.
