ST. PETERSBURG, FL — Missy Hurley, who co-founded B2 Communications in 2010, has acquired co-founder Kyle Parks’ shares of the company, becoming the agency’s sole owner. Hurley (pictured) has led the operational and financial functions for the agency, in addition to counseling the firm’s clients over the past 13 years. She’ll move from principal and co-owner into the CEO role. Parks has started a communications consulting firm, Parks PR, and will assist B2’s clients with communications strategy as one of B2’s PR network partners as needed.

WASHINGTON — Clyde Health has hired Kate Rom as a VP. Bringing more than 10 years of communications and marketing experience, Rom will collaborate with Clyde Health’s leadership team to direct and grow existing client business as well as support new client acquisition. Rom joins Clyde after six years at imre where she most recently served as group account director, client experience.

WASHINGTON — Invariant has added Loren Dealy Mahler to its strategic communications and public affairs practice. With more than two decades of national security, cybersecurity, and emerging technology experience, Mahler will further expand Invariant’s robust portfolio of work across defense, national security and cybersecurity. Earlier in her career, Mahler served as director of legislative affairs for the National Security Council. She was also the director of communications for the Department of Defense’s office of legislative affairs.
