SYDNEY — Alice Spraggon has joined Sefiani in Sydney with a global remit as head of editorial content, digital marketing. In her new hybrid role, Spraggon’s focus will be shared across local and multi-market clients of Sefiani and parent company Clarity Global. With around 10 years of international experience, Spraggon worked in Clarity's communications team in its London office for three years, before moving to Australia in 2021 and joining Howorth, part of Ogilvy PR, as client partner. At Howorth, she led communications teams for Microsoft, Twitter and SAP and supported communications strategy and content creation for American Express.

SINGAPORE — Ruder Finn Thunder, part of the Ruder Finn (RF) Group, is expanding their operations in Southeast Asia, opening a new office in Singapore. Phoebe Shen has been appointed as deputy general manager of RF Thunder Singapore, reporting to Ruder Finn’s Asia-Pacific CEO, Elan Shou. With more than a decade of integrated marketing experience, Shen will oversee RF Thunder’s operations, focusing on implementing integrated communications strategies and helping Chinese brands expand overseas, particularly in the fashion & beauty, food & beverage, travel retail and e-commerce industries. Before joining RF Thunder, Shen was a sector leader at Edelman Shanghai and a group account director at Ogilvy Shanghai, advising clients on integrated communications strategies across various sectors.

AUCKLAND — Sandpiper has appointed Camille Middleditch as associate director and Charlotte Whale as senior consultant, growing its presence in New Zealand. Both Middleditch and Whale will advise existing Sandpiper clients in New Zealand as well as international clients operating across the Asia-Pacific region and globally. Their appointment follows the opening of Sandpiper’s New Zealand office in December 2021, which has consultants based across Auckland and Hawke’s Bay, and acts as Sandpiper’s regional primary industries hub.
