HONG KONG—The Hong Kong International Film Festival Society has appointed Strategic Communications Consultants, a subsidiary of Strategic Public Relations Group, to manage its public relations communications efforts in Hong Kong for a third consecutive year. SPRG will be covering corporate, trade and consumer communications, as well as managing special events.

HONG KONG—Waggener Edstrom has promoted Henry Wood to head of Studio D, Asia Pacific, responsible for the agency’s digital service offering, including its insights and analytics, content, creative and social media teams. Wood started his career with WE in 2009 as the Hong Kong digital lead, and his remit later expanded to a Greater China role. He has worked with brands including DFS, Moët & Chandon, LG, Shangri-La, Jetstar and MediaTek. 

HONG KONG—Racepoint Global has expanded its RPG Studios offer across the Asia region with the addition of three key positions: Noel Wong has been named senior art director, tasked with leading creative integration across the region; Jennifer Russell joins Racepoint's Hong Kong office as a multimedia specialist, responsible for video content; and Cassie Feng joins Racepoint's Shanghai office as a multimedia associate and will support creative strategy.

MUMBAI—JSW Cement, part of the $11 billion JSW Group, has awarded its PR and media relations mandate to i9 Communications, which is a part of Comniscient Group (parent to Blue Lotus, Blue Bytes, Trust Research Advisory).
