HONG KONG — BCW has been appointed AOR for Converse in Hong Kong and, as such, will manage the public relations and integrated communications strategy for Converse in the market and will focus on building buzz around the company’s brand and product lines, including producing creative content and experiential activations. “We’ll be working very closely with Converse to help further its impressive growth in Hong Kong, building on the work we’ve done to date in mainland China,” said George Godsal, market leader, BCW Hong Kong.

SYDNEY — PPR has made two leadership changes, announcing that Tom Horn has been hired as associate director, corporate and Britt Prince will take on the leadership of PPR Melbourne. Horn, who was most recently at Weber Shandwick, has more than a decade of experience in Sydney and the UK across sustainability, FMCG, technology, financial services, retail, energy and healthcare. In Melbourne, Britt Prince takes on the role of team leader, Victoria, leading the team to support local and national clients after returning to Melbourne from PPR in Brisbane and being promoted into the role.

SINGAPORE — Klareco Communications, an award-winning strategic communications consultancy in Asia, has announced two senior roles. Dau Ming Seling (pictured), who is a partner, has become managing director of Klareco’s Malaysia office, and Chelsea Phua is promoted from director to partner in Singapore. Klareco has been advising state-owned enterprises as well as private companies. Seling’s appointment recognises the growth that she has overseen as partner in the Kuala Lumpur office.

TOKYO — BBN, the independent organisation of international B2B communication agencies, has been selected by Yokogawa to develop and execute a marketing campaign in the Asia Pacific and North America regions.The initial engagement will see three BBN partners, ImpactM of Japan (lead agency), GetIT Comms of Singapore and Fifth Ring (UK and US), combining forces to manage the initial phases of the campaign. BBN is working with Yokogawa to develop the demand generation campaign strategy, development of creative, targeting tactics and supporting media buy.
