PLAYA VISTA, CA  —  Belkin is reviewing PR agencies, just months after the company closed its acquisition of router company Linksys.

A spokesperson for the consumer electronics company confirmed it is amid an RFP. Belkin currently works with Formula PR in the US and Canada and Open 2 Europe in that region.

Belkin dubs itself as the “creator of people-inspired technology” and recently signed on as the title sponsor of the Blanco Pro Cycling Team through 2015, now renamed the Belkin Pro Cycling Team. The team will be competing at the 2013 Tour de France under its new name and logo.

“Through the sponsorship, Belkin aims to elevate brand awareness on a global scale for both Belkin and the Linksys brand,” according to a company statement.
