NEW YORK — Blogger platform Bloglovin' has hired Diffusion as its new PR firm, as it attempts to raise brand awareness and attract more users.

Diffusion will aim to promote the company’s e-commerce initiatives while also introducing the brand to new users, bloggers and marketing organizations.

As part of its efforts, Diffusion has helped launched Bloglovin’ Shop, the site’s own dedicated retail store. In addition, Diffusion will promote the upcoming Bloglovin’ Awards, an event designed to honor and celebrate fashion and lifestyle influencers.

Bloglovin' currently has 6m registered users and over 700k bloggers active on the platform.

"With Diffusion’s track record of award-winning campaigns in both the tech and lifestyle industries, we knew they would be the right agency to promote our platform as we grow into the e-commerce space," said Giordano Contestabile, CEO of Bloglovin’.

"The launch of Bloglovin’ shop and subsequent press is testament to their ability, and we’re confident that their media savvy and creativity will continue to help us expand our reach into new target audiences."

Diffusion president Ivan Ristic noted that “the fashion and e-commerce space is a congested one, with new social and e-commerce brands popping up every day."

"What was particularly exciting to us is how the brand plans to grow and evolve in the next year, bringing new and exciting features to the platform that will only continue to augment the user experience," added Ristic.
