ZÜRICH—Farner Consulting has hired the head of Burson Marsteller’s Geneva office, Chris Cartwright. As a member of Farner’s management board based in Lausanne and Geneva, Cartwright will create and lead a new practice group aimed at international clients.

Farner’s international consulting offer focuses on multinationals, international organizations and sporting federations, both in the region lémanique as well as in Switzerland more broadly. The new practice will supplement the firm’s current international network with FleishmanHillard and other international alliances.

Cartwright joined Burson Marsteller in 2008 as chair of the corporate and crisis practice in London and chair of technology practice in Europe, the Middle East & Africa. As managing director of Burson Marsteller's Geneva office since 2012, he has wored with clients in the commodities and extractive industries, the fields of financial services and technology, as well as within the United Nations.
