CANNES — Grammy-nominated hip-hop producer Young Guru will feature at a special session that explores how music drives successful marketing campaigns, at this year's Cannes Lions Festival.

Taking place on Monday 19 June at 2.30pm at ICCO's House of PR, 'Talking Tunes & Human Truths' will focus on how music creates and strengthens the emotional bonds between people and brands.

Best known as Jay-Z's personal music engineer, Young Guru has been described as "the most influential man in hip-hop that you've never heard of". The celebrated audio engineer, producer and DJ joined Omnicom's The Marketing Arm last December as its first chief music strategist. His music startup Era of the Engineer, meanwhile, builds relationships between musicians and brands.

The session will also feature FleishmanHillard London creative director Kev O'Sullivan and Seoul senior account manager Sam Kim. It will be moderated by Holmes Report editor-in-chief Arun Sudhaman.
