SAN FRANCISCO — After five years leading Salesforce comms, Brad Burns is moving to data cloud company Snowflake where he will serve as chief communications officer.

In his new role, Burns will be responsible for Snowflake’s communications strategy, advising the company’s leadership as Snowflake continues to grow and scale.

Burns brings two decades of experience to Snowflake.

Before serving as Salesforce’s CCO, Burns was at AT&T, where he served as senior VP of corporate communications for AT&T Communications. There, he led global communications, including public relations, employee communications, reputation management, social media, and executive communications. Earlier in his career, Burns held senior roles at Revolution, MCI and Ogilvy.
