BOSTON — Financial platform Celo has named Red Lorry Yellow Lorry its North America PR partner.

RLYL has been tasked with handling ESG-related media and influencer relations for Celo. The agency also will drive awareness of the platform and support its social and digital marketing efforts.

RLYL won the business following a competitive review. There was no incumbent agency.

A mobile-first blockchain, Celo is designed to bring cryptocurrency to smartphones in a user-friendly way, creating a financial system that promotes prosperity for all. The open-source Celo platform is supported by nonprofit Celo Foundation, which also contributes to education, research, and outreach in support of financial inclusion.

 “As we looked to grow awareness of Celo and its mission, we knew we wanted a strategic and experienced public relations and digital marketing partner to support several of our key ecosystem initiatives,” said Celo partner Crystal Braswell, who leads marketing and communications.
