TORONTO — Nestlé Canada has hired Citizen Relations to handle PR for its confectionery business.

As agency of record, Citizen’s responsibilities include handling media relations, both earned and influencer, and activations for Nestlé brands including Aero chocolate and Kit Kat bars.

In addition to the confectionery business, Citizen is providing PR support for other brands across Nestlé’s business portfolio.

Citizen won the business through a competitive review. Nestlé Canada has recently worked with a range of agencies on various brands including Rethink on Kit Kat, Golin on Essentia Water, Strategic Objectives on Nescafé and Zeno on Häagen-Dazs.
