OAKLAND, CA — The Clorox Company has hired Blue Origin’s Linda Mills to serve as chief communications officer.

“Thrilled to be walking the halls of The Clorox Company - where the number one value is to ‘do the right thing,’” Mills wrote in a LinkedIn post. "Ready to jump in with both feet as its Chief Communications Officer to tell the amazing story of the Clorox Company, our trusted brands and the impact that we're making in people's daily lives in more than 100 countries. Let's do this!”

Mills joins Clorox after two-plus years at Blue Origin, the aerospace company owned by Jeff Bezos, where she served as VP of communications. Before that, Mills was VP of Boeing’s commercial airplanes communications and Starbucks VP of global communications.

She replaces Aileen Zerrudo, who spent 17 years with Clorox before joining Kimberly-Clark in February as VP of global communications.
