DALLAS — Mr. Cooper Group has named Kelly Ann Doherty executive VP and chief people & communications officer. In the newly created position, Doherty (pictured) will lead human resources and corporate communications. Doherty has been serving as Mr. Cooper Group’s chief communications officer since August.

WASHINGTON — The American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) has announced the hiring of Kathy King as senior director public affairs, advocacy and media. King will work with the advocacy team in the Washington office promoting and defending the public and management accounting profession’s global public policy agenda. She joins from Folio Financial, where she led the fintech firm’s media relations activities.

WASHINGTON — Hudson Institute has hired Caroline Anderegg as communications director. She has served in senior marketing roles in the US, Europe, and Asia Pacific region for industry-leading organizations including Adobe, MRM/McCann, and Intel Corporation.

NASHVILLE — SmileDirectClub has appointed Bruce Henderson as the teledentistry company’s first ever chief creative officer. Most recently, he was Jack Morton Worldwide’s global chief creative officer. As part of the marketing leadership team, Henderson joins Josh Chapman, who has been promoted to chief global brand officer, and John Sheldon, who has been promoted to chief marketing officer.
