GAITHERSBURG, MD — Novavax has appointed Silvia Taylor as senior VP, investor relations and corporate affairs, overseeing Novavax’ investor relations, public relations and corporate communications activities. Most recently, she was VP of global corporate affairs and communications at Autolus Therapeutics, where she led all financial, scientific and corporate communications. Prior to Autolus, Taylor was senior VP of global investor relations and corporate affairs at Sucampo.

LOUISVILLE, KY — Brown-Forman Corporation has announced that Latin America managing director Jim Perry will succeed retiring global government relations and corporate affairs head Jim O’Malley. Perry will assume the role August 1; O’Malley will retire at the end of the year. In his new role, Perry will strengthen relationships with key industry and government officials and trade organizations and build on the company’s reputation. He joined Brown-Forman in 2000 as government relations manager, and was integral to identifying and executing key government policy changes that benefited the company. Since that time, he has led a number of Brown-Forman’s regional businesses including most recently Latin America region, consisting of three areas: PUB (Paraguay, Uruguay, Brazil), LAC (Latin America & Caribbean), and Mexico.

CAMBRIDGE, MA — Moderna has named Ray Jordan chief corporate affairs officer, He will serve on Moderna’s executive committee and report to CEO Stéphane Bancel. Jordan served as senior VP, corporate affairs at Amgen from 2012 through 2019, where he was responsible for all internal and external communications, issues management and philanthropy.
