GILBERT, AZ — Amazon’s Heather Knox has joined sustainable technology company Footprint as senior VP of global communications. Knox (pictured) spent the last year-plus as Amazon’s director of communications for operations. Before that, Knox held senior communications roles in the US and Europe at Microsoft, Nissan, and Groupe Renault and led marketing and communications through major financial events, including IPO, in growth-stage technology companies.

NEW YORK — Donna Tobin has joined DDB Worldwide as global chief marketing & communications officer. Tobin joins DDB to oversee all global and North America internal and external corporate communications. Most recently she was the EVP of marketing, communications, events and partnerships at the American Association of Advertising Agencies (4A's) where she led the organization's new vision, mission, marketing and communications strategies, and the re-imagination of the 4A's virtual thought leadership events.

WASHINGTON — Sarah Schaffer has joined the US Chamber of Commerce Foundation as VP of communications. Previously Schaffer was Visit Baltimore’s CMO. Prior to her work in the destination marketing space, she founded a content studio for a nationally known creative agency and led projects for Rockefeller Center, Hilton and other large brands.

CENTREVILLE, VA — Parsons Corporation has named Jason Yaley as the company’s new chief communications officer. Yaley joins Parsons from Advanced Concepts and Technologies International (ACT I), where he served as chief management officer. He will report to Carey Smith, Parsons’ president and chief operating officer.
