NEW YORK — Sony/ATV Music Publishing has appointed Dana Baxter as senior VP, corporate communications. In her new role, Baxter (pictured) will be tasked with leading all global communications strategies for the company. She joins Sony/ATV from Essence, where she most recently served as VP, communications and influencer relations and was integral to the development of Essence Festival.

NEW YORK — Daniel Hunter has been appointed by Deutsche Bank as managing director, head of communications for the Americas. He is also responsible for the communications for Investment Bank worldwide. Hunter joined the bank from Prosek, where he was a managing director in the New York office, advising global banks, private equity funds and hedge funds. Prior to joining Prosek, he held senior roles at Barclays and Nomura in London, leading communications across investment banking, corporate banking, wealth management, asset management and retail banking.

HARTSVILLE, SC —Matthew Winokur has been named senior VP of corporate affairs at Novolex, a new position at the company. Winokur will help bring a unified approach to Novolex communications, public affairs and sustainability strategies, working closely with both internal and external stakeholders. Winokur had been serving as a consultant to the company.
