NEW YORK — Dentons Global Advisors has expanded into Latin America with the opening of an office in Bogotá.

The office, which also serves as a Caribbean hub, is Dentons’ first in the region, and will be co-led by Bogotá-based Johanna Peters and Muni Jensen, who is in Washington.

Peters (pictured) is a long time strategic and political advisor who, most recently, was a campaign manager for Colombian presidential candidate Sergio Fajardo during his 2018 and 2022 campaigns. Jensen, meantime, has spent roughly nine years as a senior advisor with Dentons’ Albright Stonebridge Group representing Latin American organizations in the US.

In addition to expanding the firm’s capabilities across the region, Peters and Jensen will both work with the firm’s global crisis, issue and dispute management and public affairs capabilities alongside Dentons Global Advisors ASG and the Dentons Global Advisors government relations team in Washington.

“Today’s announcement reflects our commitment to expand globally,” said Edward Reilly, Chief Executive Officer of Dentons Global Advisors. “We have advised clients with interests in Latin America for decades, and our expansion in Colombia will further strengthen our ability to help them navigate the region’s complex, yet rewarding, business environment.”
