SINGAPORE — Japanese giant Dentsu and its clients have received more nominations for the 2018 Asia-Pacific SABRE Awards competition than any other firm, with 31 finalists in the Gold and Diamond categories, which recognize the best public relations campaigns of the past 12 months.

Dentsu beat out competition from Ogilvy (26 finalists), India's Adfactors (22) and MNC agencies Burson Cohn & Wolfe (21), Edelman (21), FleishmanHillard (20), Ruder Finn (17) and Weber Shandwick (15).

Other firms with multiple finalists include AKA Asia, H+K Strategies and Red Agency (10 each), Ketchum (9), IN.FOM (7), Text100 (6),  BlueFocus, First Partners, Viacom18 and WE Communications (5 each).

The winners will be announced at our annual SABRE Awards gala, which takes place at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Singapore on September 11. Tickets for the awards dinner—as well as the accompanying In2Summit—are available here.

A complete list of Asia-Pacific SABRE Awards finalists can be found here, determined by more than 35 jurors following a record haul of over 1,500 entries in 2018.
