NEW YORKDiscovery has tapped former 21st Century Fox comms exec Nathaniel Brown to lead the media company’s global communications.

As executive VP of global communications, Brown will lead corporate communications worldwide and serve as the chief spokesperson for the company. He will be based in New York and report to David Leavy, the company’s chief corporate operations officer.

Brown had been 21st First Century Fox’s senior VP, corporate affairs and media relations, since 2012. In that role, he served as deputy global communications chief for the company’s portfolio of cable, broadcast, film and pay TV assets. Before that, he led communications for MTV.
