LOS ANGELES — Edelman has hired ad industry veteran Duncan Milner as executive creative director.

In the newly created executive VP role, Milner will lead creative for Edelman’s global Samsung account as well as other tech clients served by the agency’s Los Angeles office. He will report to global chief creative officer Judy John, who also was an ad exec before joining Edelman in 2019.

Milner has spent more than two decades in creative leadership roles. Before spending the last two years as a consultant, he spent 11 years as TBWA/Media Arts Lab chief creative officer. A specialist in tech advertising, Milner has created high-profile campaigns including Apple’s PC vs. Mac and the famous iPod silhouette.
