WASHINGTON — Longtime Edelman vet Jordan Lubowitz is joining Ogilvy’s Washington operation to lead PR.

In the executive VP role, Lubowitz will be responsible for helping drive growth for Ogilvy across public affairs, corporate reputation and issues management capabilities in North America, as well as leading the Washington PR team.

Lubowitz is moving to Ogilvy after nearly 14 years at Edelman, where she most recently served as an executive VP and lead the agency’s Washington public affairs group. During her time at Edelman, Lubowitz was responsible for portfolio management and driving capabilities and services including crisis preparedness, though leadership, the execution of campaigns and managing talent and finances.

“Jordan is a consummate professional and trusted partner with deep understanding of the D.C. ecosystem,” said Washington group managing director Rachel Caggiano.  "Across her career, she’s demonstrated a capacity for driving real impact in both the public and private sectors — from navigating complex industry challenges to orchestrating visionary campaigns for businesses of all kinds. Her ingenuity and problem-solving skills reflect our very own way of working at Ogilvy. I can’t wait to see how Jordan inspires the continued growth of our business.”
