LONDON — Barclays has chosen M&C Saatchi Sport & Entertainment as its sports marketing partner, responsible for creative, communications and experiential activations across the bank’s sports and entertainment sponsorships, including the Football Association, the Premier League, a new £30m investment in women’s football and the Live Nation festivals. The previous agency was Iris.
LONDON — Clarity has been named agency of record for LexisNexis Risk Solutions in the UK and Ireland. The agency Clarity will be responsible for establishing the firm as an authority on digital identity, financial crime compliance and customer data management, via strategic counsel, thought leadership, campaign support and media relations. LexisNexis Risk Solutions is part of RELX, a FTSE 30 company with revenues of £7.1 billion and market capitalisation of £43 billion.
LONDON — Hotel chain Travelodge, which operates almost 600 hotels across the UK, Ireland and Spain, has appointed Splendid Communications as its strategic social and content agency after a competitive pitch. The agency has been briefed to evolve how Travelodge engages with its customers and drive brand growth.
LONDON — Ecoegg, an environmentally-friendly laundry product, has appointed Boldspace for a wide-ranging creative brief covering TV, social and PR. The agency will develop an integrated creative campaign, providing strategy, creative, production and campaign execution and using its data and analytics platform, BoldLens. The account will be led by Boldspace co-founder Nick Ford-Young, reporting to Ecoegg head of brand and marketing Lisa Whalley-Smith.
