LONDON — Red Havas, which bills itself as a “global micro-network of merged media agencies” has announced the launch of Red Havas Spain, Germany, China, Italy and France, to add to its offices across the US, Australia, Singapore, Vietnam, the Philippines, Indonesia, the UK and Dubai. LONDON — As COP26 gets underway, the PRCA has partnered with the Royal Meteorological Society to deliver specialised training to help PR and communication teams understand the science behind climate change, what it might mean for the future and how to explain it to their audiences. The partnership is a result of the association’s Misinformation and Climate Strategy Group’s research which showed PR practitioners need to upskill to be effective strategic advisors.

LONDON — The Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) and the Institute of Internal Communicators (IoIC) have published a new, free skills guide providing a framework for communicating with various stakeholders following the death of a colleague by suicide or possible suicide. ‘Helping organisations when they need to communicate suicide’ outlines a five-step process on how to prepare for, respond to, communicate, and manage communication related to a suicide internally and externally including with the press and authorities. It includes a section on the use of language. Before reading the detailed guide, it is advised that readers mentally prepare to be confronted with some challenging content and issues.
