LONDON — Finn Partners has been selected by GeneMe UK, an authorised distributor of the new FRANKD rapid Covid test, to support PR and communications around how the test is helping businesses worldwide to recover from the pandemic. The programme will be underpinned with announcements of how FRANKD is being used across the public sector and in industries including travel, entertainment, manufacturing, and the arts. Finn Partners will deliver media relations, strategic counsel and event support, as well as message development.

LONDON — The Atmosphere Hotels & Resorts hospitality group has chosen Rooster as its partner PR agency to handle the UK launch and ongoing promotion of new luxury Indian Ocean hotel brand The Ozen Collection (pictured). The agency’s remit includes launching the brand to UK consumers, as well as handling promotion for new resort openings via national, regional, local and specialist consumer media, as well as through influencer partnerships. Rooster has worked with Atmosphere group for eight years, launching five Maldives hotels to the UK market.

LONDON — The PHA Group has won two new clients: international payment service provider and direct bank card acquirer Ecommpay, which the agency has been tasked with positioning as a market leader in payments; and lawyer-free digital divorce service, Amicable, with a brief that aims to build consumer awareness of its collaborative approach to separation and challenge the notion that divorce is always acrimonious.

Alfred has been appointed to handle all communications for the UK market, spanning consumer, and influencer relations. The agency will also advise on global strategy, managing activation of programmes across EMEA markets.

LONDON — Networking systems, services and software provider Ciena has selected Babel to drive its US trade and international business press programmes, becoming the company’s largest retained PR agency. The expanded brief follows Babel last year winning a competitive pitch process to run Ciena’s international business press programme, focusing on the US and European markets.

LONDON — Reusable lunchbox, water bottle and thermos brand Black+Blum has appointed Sunny Side Up to drive brand awareness across the UK. The agency’s brief is to drive demand for the brand’s range of products via consumer and influencer media and to highlight the company’s sustainability and design credentials via business and trade media.

MOSCOW — iMARS Communications has signed a collaboration agreement with Californian agency AIJ Communications. The agencies will work together on communications and event support for American companies entering the Russian market, and companies from Russia and the CIS entering the US market. AIJ Communications, whose founder Joe Marchelewski is the 2020 president of the LA Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America, specialises in counsel for law firms, consumer products, cannabis executives and digital finance professionals.
