LONDON — Insurance market Lloyd’s of London has hired Brunswick for a global PR brief following a competitive pitch process run by Creativebrief. The remit includes global PR strategy, corporate comms, CSR and sustainability, crisis comms and social media strategy.

LONDON — The University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business has hired corporate communications agency Firstlight as its PR partner in EMEA. Firstlight is working with Chicago Booth – the top-three US business school – on the launch of a new London campus, including media, influencer and stakeholder relations, strategic campaigns and thought leadership.

LONDON — Healthcare communications agency Aurora has launched a new specialist consultancy, Atlas, to help pharmaceutical companies to connect with patients and advance products and services, through strategy, co-design and organisational change services. The new agency is headed up by Aaron Pond, who was Aurora’s first hire 15 years ago and has worked for the agency for over a decade.

LONDON — Definition has made its second acquisition in a month, buying brand strategy and creative design agency Redhouse, whose MD Fiona Corey will join the group board. The acquisition follows Definition buying employee engagement agency Words & Pictures in November, after acquiring Limelight in 2018. The agency now has 40 employees across London, Leeds and Dubai and combined annual revenue of about £3.8 million.

LONDON — Alcohol-free beer brand Freestar (pictured) has appointed Alpaca Communications as its retained PR agency. Alpaca will be running an always-on press office, running creative campaigns and supporting the company as it aims to be seen by consumers as one of the top independent alcohol free brands.

Founded in 2000 by Cristina Salvador, 40-strong Both is an integrated communications agency and consultancy based in Barcelona and Madrid that has four strands: PR & campaigns, branded content & events/experiences, internal communications & change management and communications trainings.

LONDON — UK holiday park company Shorefield has appointed Sunny Side Up to drive brand awareness and sell more holidays and holiday homes. The work will include consumer media and influencer profiling as well as dedicated launch programmes for new product offers in 2021.

LONDON — Health sector specialist Road has been appointed to advise ReLife, the aesthetic division of Italian pharmaceutical company, A Menarini, on the launch of its new Definesse range of fillers and peels. The agency is running a PR and social media campaign supporting a professional education campaign and a consumer push in 2021.

HAMPSHIRE, UK — Jargon PR has been appointed by data management company Such Sweet Thunder on an international brief, to drive awareness of the company and its data management offering, as well as highlighting the importance of data quality, through media relations. As well as focusing on business, technology and data management press, Jargon PR will target verticals including finance, retail, and e-commerce.
