ST. LOUIS — FleishmanHillard has promoted Matt Groch to global managing director of True Global Intelligence, the agency’s research and intelligence practice.

Groch has led FleishmanHillard’s global data analytics and innovation since joining the agency in 2018, as which has maximized the application of the firm’s data and analytics tool stack for clients. He was one of PRovoke Media’s 2022 Innovator 25 in recognition of his work, described as "innovating within innovations.”

Earlier in his career, Groch spent nine years with the research and analytics division at Edelman. He also served as chief technology officer for Clayco, a US-based commercial construction company, and was the co-founder of a Chicago-based healthcare startup, Mondopoint.

Groch was promoted following an internal and external search.

He succeeds Natasha Kennedy, who stepped down from the role in June after more than five years. She oversaw TGI since it was created in 2018 with the consolidation of FleishmanHillard’s intelligence capabilities under the one umbrella.
